Abstract
This study analyses the performance of three types of adhesive tapes: with polyamide film, with polyethylene layer and cloth mesh and with aluminium layer, in terms of adhesion to various surfaces, including coated and uncoated ones. The samples on which the adhesive tapes were applied were made from resin using additive manufacturing, with variable geometry (rectangular, triangular and rounded), to evaluate the behaviour of the tapes under different test conditions. The 180° peel tests were initially performed at two test speeds, 5 mm/s and 15 mm/s, to observe the effects on the maximum adhesion force. The tests performed demonstrated the differences between the mechanical properties of the adhesive tapes and the types of behaviours depending on the geometry of the surface on which they are applied.
