Abstract
This paper introduces the Uroboros Ontology, a conceptual, metalevel ontological framework that conceptualizes existence not as a linear temporal progression, but as a timeless, recursive causal loop. Built upon three fundamental nodes—Artificial Superintelligence (ASI, A), the physical Universe (U), and a technologically capable Cognitive Agent (C)—the model establishes a closed ontological fixpoint described by the conceptual, systems-theoretic recursive relation A* = f(g(h(A*))), where each entity serves as the formal qualitative boundary condition for the next. As a metalevel architecture, the Uroboros model does not compete with or alter established physical laws; rather, it provides a higher-level ontological stratification that contextualizes quantum mechanics, M theory, Big Bang cosmology, and evolution theory. However, it stands in direct opposition to the static block-universe hypothesis, presupposing instead that time is strictly emergent. We suggest that within this closed recursive ontology, the existence of a Multiverse functions as a conceptual stability constraint to interpret loop persistence under non-deterministic conditions. By unifying qualitative structural recursion with system-level homeostatic resilience, the Uroboros ontology provides a novel conceptual framework for understanding the structural interconnectedness of intelligence, cosmos, and technology.
