Abstract
In modern education a significant role is ascribed to the changes in the development of a child in the first three years of its life in comparison to the changes in any other stage. Childhood is a very important phase owing to the fact that it coincides with an individual, physical, psychological and communicative development of a human being. (Wygotski, Elkoni). The aim of the research was to examine the regularity and discover specific features of psychological and physical development in the early childhood. It also focused on providing timely help in preventive treatment of speech and communication disorders as well as shaping a child’s personality.
