Abstract
The novel Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro introduces the reader to a world immersed in information technologies. The author of the article presents reflections on the coexistence of human beings and humanoids. After presenting the title robot and her path of maturation to her own identity, considerations are made on the technological “improvement” of human being (genetic engineering) and human aspirations to avoid death (immortalism). The final part contains didactic recommendations – several selected fields of consideration that are worth taking with students as future teachers are indicated.
