Abstract
The text proposes reflections on the processes of affectation and production of meanings as fundamental devices for understanding the challenges related to life. To this end, it initially appropriates two variables: hunger and war. The article then briefly points out the challenges related to the use of technologies by subjects who have not learned about their own human condition (Morin, 2011). As a contribution, it proposes a movement of epistemological decolonization based on the expansion of the field of observation, study, and intervention aimed at advancing scientific knowledge, considering the complexity of life. Finally, it presents a poem as an inspiring resource for a poetic-reflective epistemological transposition in the scientific context, with the aim of promoting a perceptive expansion of the processes of affectation and production of meanings for the development of knowledge.
