Abstract
The paper describes the process of obtaining biochar from various types of biorenewable raw materials (birch wood, walnut shells). The results of the analysis of the physicochemical and sorption characteristics of the carbonized material are presented. The influence of temperature regimes on the genesis of microporosity and the prospects of using biochar to obtain an effective adsorption material as an alternative to sorbents based on fossil coal are shown.
