Abstract
An assessment of the hydrographic network’s influence on surface-runoff dynamics was undertaken to justify a comprehensive programme for restoring and conserving the Somyne mire. The study clarifies the marsh’s hydrological functioning and sets out the full list of necessary organisational and engineering interventions. Its findings highlight the need for proactive wetland-revitalisation measures in the context of climate change and growing pressure on natural resources.
