Abstract
Objective
The aim of this study was to evaluate if "Internet + nursing service"-based continuous nursing improves hip function, self-management efficacy, and quality of life in elderly hip fracture patients post-PFNA surgery. Methods
This prospective, non-randomized controlled study with a non-concurrent control group used consecutive sampling to enroll 88 elderly patients (April 2024-September 2025): 44 patients in the control group received routine discharge guidance and telephone follow-up, and 44 patients in the intervention group received routine care plus the "Internet + nursing" intervention. General self-efficacy scale (GSES), rehabilitation compliance, Harris hip score, ADL, SF-36, nursing satisfaction, complications, and first ambulation time were compared. Results
No baseline differences (p > 0.05). At 1 month, study group had higher GSES, better compliance, and shorter ambulation time (p Conclusions
