Abstract
This research analyzes the impact of using gamified activities through Wordwall on learning about living things and their environment in natural sciences. The study was conducted during the 2024-2025 school year with 50 third-grade students in general basic education at a private institution in Guayaquil. The objective was to determine the effect of this digital tool on student learning, motivation, and participation. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was applied, using pre-tests, post-tests, and structured observation sheets. The results revealed that the experimental group improved their academic performance and showed greater interest, attention, and enjoyment in class. It is concluded that gamification with Wordwall promotes meaningful learning, strengthens social interaction, and fosters a positive attitude toward natural sciences.
