Abstract
Low mathematics learning outcomes regarding the topic of angles were identified among fifth-grade students at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun. Pre-test results showed that only 7 out of 28 students (25%) met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 70, with an average score of 56.8. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model supported by interactive digital media and to determine its impact on mathematics learning outcomes concerning angles. The study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two cycles with 28 fifth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The results indicate that implementing the CTL model supported by interactive digital media successfully improved students' learning outcomes. The class average score rose from 56.8 in the pre-cycle stage to 60.71 in Cycle I and 68.39 in Cycle II. The percentage of students achieving mastery also increased from 25% in the pre-cycle stage to 39.3% in Cycle I and 57.1% in Cycle II. Thus, the CTL model supported by interactive digital media serves as an effective instructional alternative for improving mathematics learning outcomes regarding angles in elementary schools.
