Abstract
This study aims to enhance the learning interest of fourth-grade elementary school students in the IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) subject—specifically regarding the topic of "Needs and Wants"—through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Wordwall media. The study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted over two cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 fourth-grade students at SDN 02 Klegen, Madiun City. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches. The results indicate that the implementation of the PBL model supported by Wordwall media successfully increased student learning interest across all indicators. By the end of Cycle II, the percentage of students achieving the "very good" category reached 82% for the indicator of feelings of enjoyment, 73% for engagement, 73% for attention, and 77% for interest. Furthermore, the learning process became more active, interactive, and student-centered, thereby boosting student participation, the confidence to express opinions, and overall enthusiasm during the lesson. Thus, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Wordwall media is effective in enhancing the learning interest of fourth-grade students in IPAS lessons covering the topic of "Needs and Wants
