Abstract
This article examines the role of digital platforms in transforming the financing mechanisms of nonprofit organizations under conditions of full-scale war. It is substantiated that wartime challenges have led to significant changes in the financial architecture of the nonprofit sector, resulting in a shift from predominantly institutional funding models to digital mechanisms of resource mobilization. Theoretical approaches to defining the essence of digital platforms, their functions, and their role in the development of the digital economy are analyzed, and contemporary scholarly perspectives on the financial support of nonprofit organizations are summarized. The study characterizes the functioning of digital platforms as an infrastructure for interaction between donors and nonprofit organizations. It is determined that the use of social media, crowdfunding services, messaging applications, and digital payment systems ensures rapid fundraising, expands the geographical scope of donor support, increases financial transparency, and reduces transaction costs. Differences between traditional and digital models of philanthropy are systematized, and key factors determining the effectiveness of digital platforms in mobilizing charitable funds are generalized. It is substantiated that under wartime conditions, digital platforms are gradually transforming from auxiliary fundraising tools into independent mechanisms for managing financial flows in the nonprofit sector, acting as key financial intermediaries between donors and beneficiaries. It is established that the financial sustainability of nonprofit organizations directly depends on their level of digital presence, user trust, communication efficiency, and transparency in the use of attracted resources. The practical significance of the research lies in its potential application for improving financing mechanisms of nonprofit organizations, developing digital tools for fundraising, and forming an effective financial model for the functioning of the nonprofit sector under wartime and post-war conditions in Ukraine.
