Abstract
IS THERE A SELF-MANAGEMENT NOUS ? The study of the way nous functions in a corpus of texts produced by self-managing groups and organisations (CFDT, Socialist Party, PSU) highlights its polysemy, structured by the statuses of the agents of the discourses analysed, enunciators and adressers, receivers and interlocutors. The « type » of discourse does not seem relevant as to the mode of polyphony, any more than the proposition to define « self-management discourse » as a « discourse of contamination », based on the way the discourses of the PSU women function, with particular reference to nous in those discourses. But the modes of elaboration and circulation of texts, and the discursive relations between the spokespersons, the organisation and the receivers established in the polysémie nous seem to be the criteria of characterization.
