Abstract
The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is crucial for creating a safe workplace and improving worker performance, particularly in high-risk sectors such as fuel distribution. However, observations at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Meulaboh continue to show irregularities in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with occupational safety protocols, which can impact worker performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between employee performance at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Meulaboh and the use of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS). This study employed a cross-sectional design and quantitative methodology. A complete sampling strategy was employed to select 52 respondents for the study sample. A questionnaire was used to collect data, and the Chi-Square test was used for univariate and bivariate analysis at a 95% significance level (α = 0.05). The Chi-Square test yielded a χ² score of 13.019 with a p-value <0.001, indicating a strong correlation between OHS implementation and employee performance. It is concluded that by creating a safer and more comfortable work environment, effective implementation of K3 is related to improved employee performance.
