Abstract
Within the procedure for establishing any legal entity carrying out commercial activities, the execution of the articles of association represents an essential stage, reflecting the founders’ agreement regarding the provisions governing its establishment, operation, and termination. Given that the limited liability company is the most commonly used type of commercial legal entity in practice, this paper aims to analyse the statutory requirements that the articles of association of such a company must fulfil. The analysis will take into consideration the relevant legal provisions, as well as the views expressed in specialised literature.
