Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial Technology, Financial Literacy, Financial Attitude, and Lifestyle on the Financial Behavior of Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. The rapid expansion of digital financial services, combined with the still-limited financial literacy of Generation Z, raises concerns about consumptive spending patterns and rising badcredit exposure among young adults. A quantitative associative-causal approach was employed, in which primary data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 120 Generation Z respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that Financial Technology, Financial Literacy, and Financial Attitude each have a positive and significant effect on Financial Behavior, whereas Lifestyle has no significant effect. The model explains 53.7 percent of the variance in Financial Behavior. These findings support the Theory of Planned Behavior in explaining the financial behavior of the younger generation and offer practical input for Generation Z, fintech providers, and educational institutions seeking to strengthen financial literacy and responsible money management.
