Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales accounting information system using the Laravel framework to address the lack of structured financial record-keeping at the MSME "Nasi Kuning Angel." Previously, the absence of such a system hindered the owner from evaluating business performance and preparing the financial reports often required for external financing applications. The study employs the Waterfall development methodology, encompassing the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system design utilizes Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams, which are technically implemented via the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture in Laravel. The results demonstrate the successful development of a system featuring a public landing page, transaction journal recording, a general ledger, and automated financial dashboards and reports. Testing conducted using Use Case Testing techniques confirms that all operational functions and authorization validations operate correctly in accordance with user requirement specifications. This web application modernizes the MSME's administrative management, facilitates transaction recording, and generates standard-compliant profit and loss statements and trial balances.
