Abstract
During our fieldwork in Bishan District, Chongqing Municipality, two coelotine spiders were collected from two adjacent burrows and were identified as the female of
C

galeiformis
and the male of
D
.
jiafu
, respectively. DNA barcoding confirmed that the two specimens are conspecific.
Coelotes galeiformis
Wang, Yin, Peng & Xie, 1990 is proposed as a senior synonym of
Draconarius jiafu
Zhang, Zhu & Wang, 2017, syn. nov., based on the correction of their sex association. Thus, the male of
C
.
galeiformis
is described and illustrated for the first time, and the female is redescribed. Photos, diagnoses, and detailed descriptions are provided.
