Abstract
This deliverable presents the conceptual, theoretical, and methodological framework for taxonomic training, developed under the TETTRIs project (T4.2) which will be implemented in CETAF-DEST as the central training infrastructure of the CETAF community, complemented by the TETTRIs e-learning platform Learning Management System (LMS). It provides the scientific and pedagogical rationale for the blended, multi-pathway training model, as well as alignment with Horizon Europe terminology (inputs–outputs–outcomes–impact). The training framework includes details on the conceptual and pedagogical foundations, such as learner-centered and competence-based approaches, as well as blended learning and learning through practice. The training framework architecture is based on an analysis of the specific target groups and their linkage to training pathways. The multi-pathway approach to Taxonomic Training adopted in the TETTRIs project combines diverse and flexible learning methods that build a resilient, distributed network of expertise, catering to formal education, nonformal training and informal learning. Examples of taxonomic training courses’ curricula (T4.3 and D4.2) are presented in the Appendix.
