Abstract
With the constitution of the Commission “Criteria and methods for the assessment of animal welfare,” the Scientific Association of Animal Production (ASPA) intended to underscore the importance of a subject matter that qualifies animal breeding and is currently engaging the attention of Italian researchers in the area of zootechnics.
