Abstract
This chapter explores emerging and complementary sustainability models as interpretive lenses, not prescriptive solutions. It examines how approaches such as doughnut economics, planetary boundaries, regenerative business models and advanced circularity can enrich organisational understanding while complementing established sustainability practices. The chapter emphasises maturity, judgement, and decision quality, cautioning against framework overload and highlighting how organisations can use models to strengthen action and maintain momentum.
