Abstract
Welcome to the world of battery electric vehicles (BEVs), whereby assessing these cutting-edge transportation options plays a crucial role. It is crucial to perform a thorough analysis of battery electric vehicles given that we approach a time that includes advances in technology and increasing environmental concern. Measures of performance, range capabilities, infrastructure for charging, cost-effectiveness, and impact on the environment are only a few of the factors that are carefully investigated in the study. We acquire important insights that guide our decision-making and eventually help us move towards a cleaner, more sustainable future by carefully and impartially studying these factors. Join us as we embark on an insightful voyage into the world of BEV assessment, where thorough assessment & complex analyses will shape our knowledge of these vehicles’ possibilities and limits. In contemporary society, assessing battery electric vehicles (BEVs) is of utmost relevance for research. Understanding and assessing the performance and dependability of BEVs is vital given growing around the world demand for renewable transportation solutions. This study informs customers, producers, and policymakers on the advantages and difficulties of BEVs in also adding to the body of knowledge regarding electric cars. Researchers will identify places for progress, establish strategies for the best deployment, and aid in the shift to a low-carbon transportation sector through assessing factors including range, charging infrastructure, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact. Additionally, the results of these evaluations have an extensive effect on future technological advancements, legislation systems, and investment choices in the quest of clean and sustainable transportation. The “EDAS (Estimation Based on Distance from Average Solution)” technique is emerging as a powerful tool to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of BEVs in pursuit of sustainable transport. By taking into account multiple factors simultaneously—range, charging infrastructure, cost, and environmental impact—this technique enables a holistic assessment. Researchers and decision makers can use the EDAS technique to quantitatively compare and evaluate multiple BEV models based on how close they are to the best answer. The EDAS technique provides a systematic method for evaluating and comparing BEVs, helps in identifying strengths and weaknesses, streamlines the decision-making process, and promotes the development of a wide range of sustainable electric cars. As the result, “Kia EV6” is placed on the Top and the “Hyundai Kona Electric “is placed at the bottom due to their difference in their Advantages and Disadvantages. Kia EV6 is placed on the Top and the Hyundai Kona Electric is placed at the bottom in the Assessment of Battery Electric Vehicle using EDAS Method.
