Abstract
Abstract
This study investigates the influence of organizational values, norms, and underlying assumptions on innovative work behaviors among employees working in Technopark enterprises located in the TR83 Region (Samsun, Çorum, and Tokat). Drawing on data collected from 257 participants, the research employs normality tests, reliability analyses using Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, and validity assessments to examine the robustness of the measurement structure. The study aims to identify the extent to which organizational cultural components shape employees’ tendencies to generate, develop, and implement innovative ideas within technology-oriented organizational settings. The study builds on Social Exchange Theory, linking supportive organizational contexts to employees’ innovative work behaviors. In addition, demographic variables such as gender, age, education level, and tenure were included in the analysis, and the significant differences in employees’ perceptions of organizational values, norms, and assumptions as well as their innovative work behaviors across these variables were examined. The findings indicate that organizational culture has a significant and positive effect on innovative work behaviors. Among the cultural dimensions, shared values and underlying assumptions demonstrate the strongest influence on employees’ innovative activities, particularly in the stages of problem identification and implementation. The results suggest that supportive cultural environments play an important role in fostering innovation-oriented behaviors in Technopark enterprises.
