Abstract
This study aims to determine the application of monopoly media to improve language fluency in Grade 2 students of SDN Palesanggar 5. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection using interviews,observation and dokumentation.This research involved 2nd grade students of SDN Palesanggar 5 Pamekasan. Language is a process carried out to practice communication skills. Language skills are needed from an early age to get the message that a writer wants to convey. Language skills are very useful for everyone, especially children in elementary school education. Language skills are very necessary to keep up with the times, because with language one will gain new knowledge and experience. Action research in two cycles and each cycle includes: planning stage, implementation stage of activities and research results. The results showed that in the first cycle who met the presentase > 70 were 2 students meanwhile, in cycle 2, 11 students met the presentase 70 adalah 2 siswa sedangkan pada siklus 2 yang memenuhi presentase < 70 adalah 10 siswa. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media monopoli memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kelancaran berbahasa.
