Abstract
I immigrated to the United States at the age of 16 in search of the so-called “American dream.” This means that I have had to face many obstacles to achieve my dreams. Like many undocumented immigrants, for a long time, I was forced to live in the shadows. However, I believe that those of us who come to the United States in search of a better life should not allow circumstances to prevent us from achieving our dreams. Documented or undocumented, immigrants have to find a way to move forward in life. Regardless of our struggles and challenges, immigrants are hardworking people who have the passion and courage to fight for their dreams. We are men and women who never give up!
