Abstract
The administration of the Puncak Jaya Student Central Dormitory in Manado still relies heavily on conventional manual recording, causing critical inefficiencies in registration verification, room occupancy tracking, and resident grouping across decentralized rental units in Poli, Malalayang, and Tondano. These constraints lead to recurring risks of data redundancy, lost paperwork, and slow reporting cycles. This study aims to develop a web-based Registration and Resident Data Management Information System for the Puncak Jaya Student Central Dormitory using the Laravel framework to establish integrated, transparent, and centralized administrative management. System development followed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, encompassing requirements analysis, UML-based system modeling, Laravel MVC construction, and black-box testing. Built-in security mechanisms utilize Bcrypt hashing and CSRF token protection. System functionalities include paperless online registration, multi-branch residential categorization, active and inactive resident segregation, real-time room capacity tracking, official event publication, and automated PDF report generation. Black-box testing across ten core functional features demonstrated a 100% success rate, confirming that all operational modules meet specifications. The resulting system successfully modernizes dormitory administration, streamlines student intake, eliminates inter-branch data duplication, and enables fast, real-time reporting.
