Abstract
Conventional macroeconomics relies on interest and debt to find balance. Islamic economics focuses on both material and spiritual needs. This study builds an Islamic General Equilibrium model to overcome the problem of economic. This study examines the multiplier effect of zakat and the equity based financing to achieve general equilibrium. This study employs a library research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach and theoretical modeling. The findings propose a novel macroeconomic framework, termed the IS-LS-Islamic model, which systematically replaces the conventional interest rate (r) with the zakat rate on idle assets (z) and the expected real profit-and-loss sharing rate (p) Simultaneous equilibrium is achieved through the structural interaction of these dual instruments : zakat serves as a demand-side stabilizer by enhancing the purchasing power and aggregate consumption of low-income groups, while equity-based financing acts as a supply-side driver by channeling liquidity directly into productive real-sector investments without the burden of interest-bearing debt. Consequently, this model offers a self-organizing, inclusive, and resilient macroeconomic framework aligned with maqasid al-shariah.
