Abstract
Profit-sharing is a form of cooperation recommended in Islamic economics because it prioritizes the principles of fairness, transparency, and mutual benefit. In practice, canteen management in higher education institutions often employs a profit-sharing system between the canteen manager and the venue provider. This study aims to analyze the profit-sharing practices of canteen management and assess their compliance with the perspective of Islamic Economic Law in the Ushuluddin Canteen at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This study employed qualitative research methods, collecting data through interviews with parties involved in the canteen management. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to describe the profit-sharing implementation mechanism and its application in practice. The results indicate that the profit-sharing system implemented is based on an agreement between the canteen manager and related parties regarding profit sharing. Therefore, the profit-sharing practices of canteen management at the Ushuluddin Canteen at UIN Raden Intan Lampung can be considered to align with the principles of Islamic Economic Law, although improvements to the administrative aspects of the contract are still needed.
