Abstract
This study examines the implementation of Islamic reflection based Islamic religious education (PAI) learning in shaping students religious consciousness at SMKN Tengaran. Many vocational students understand religious material cognitively but rarely apply Islamic values in daily life. This research aims to describe how teachers integrate muhasabah, tafakkur, and tadabbur into PAI learning and how this approach strengthens religious consciousness through the support of family, school, and community. The study uses a qualitative description method. Data come from semi structured interviews and observation with the vice principal of student affairs, a PAI teacher, and students selected through purposive sampling in June 2026. Data validity relies on source triangulation. Findings show that teachers open each lesson with reflective questions and audiovisual media that connect religious material with students personal experience. This approach shifts student motivation from academic achievement toward intrinsic awareness, reflected in more consistent prayer practice and improved Quran reading. The study also finds that sustained religious consciousness depends on synergy among family, school, and community, consistent with Ki Hajar Dewantara concept of Tripusat Pendidikan. This research contributes a conceptual framework that positions Islamic reflection as a value internalization approach rather than a religious program, working together with the three education centers as a supporting ecosystem for sustainable religious character formation among vocational students.
