Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of the Public Relations Division of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Sumenep Regency in building public trust through the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Election (Pilkada) Mascot Parade. This research employed a qualitative approach within a constructivist paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada Mascot Parade in Sumenep Regency. Data validity was strengthened through source, data, theory, and method triangulation. The study applied Social Construction Theory as the grand theory, Excellence Theory as the middle-range theory, and Situational Crisis Communication Theory as the applied theory. The findings reveal that the KPU Public Relations Division played an active role in disseminating information, establishing two-way communication, and encouraging community engagement through the Mascot Parade. The activity successfully increased public enthusiasm, symbolic participation, and trust in the electoral process. However, voter turnout in the 2024 Pilkada reached only 74.80%, falling short of the targeted 80%. The study concludes that the 2024 Pilkada Mascot Parade was effective as a public communication strategy for strengthening public trust in the KPU of Sumenep Regency, although it was not fully successful in increasing electoral participation to the expected level.
