Abstract
The current study aims to investigate the phenomenon of global supply chain integration and
organizational resilience of multinational agricultural subsidiaries in the Niger Delta region of
Nigeria. This is because these types of organizations always experience hiccups in their
operations, such as production delays, poor infrastructure, natural shocks, and disruptions in the
supply chain, and little is known about the role of integrating the supply chain in improving
organizational resilience in this context. The current study aimed to investigate the link between
global supply chain integration and organizational resilience, with special reference to internal
integration, supplier integration, and customer integration and their relationships to robustness
and agility, respectively. A cross-sectional study was conducted to collect data from multinational
agricultural subsidiaries in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, where 120 respondents were
selected through a simple random sampling technique from a population of 500 respondents, and
all the selected respondents were reached through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire to collect
data and analyze the relationships between variables through weighted mean and correlation
analysis at 0.05 significance levels. The findings of the study indicated significant positive
correlations between all three facets of global supply chain integration and robustness and agility,
respectively, with correlation coefficients of 0.742 and 0.821, indicating that well-integrated
supply chains play a significant role in improving organizational resilience. It was concluded that
global supply chain integration is a significant driver of organizational resilience in multinational
agricultural subsidiaries in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
