Abstract
This study aims to determine and describe the role of classroom teachers in shaping students' positive learning habits at SDN 1 Kayangan. A descriptive qualitative research approach was deployed. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving ten informants who were selected purposively, namely one principal, three classroom teachers of grades IV, V, and VI, and six student representatives (two students from each class). The results of the study indicate that classroom teachers at SDN 1 Kayangan play an essential role as facilitators, motivators, and role models who consistently guide students to be disciplined and active in learning. The formation of these positive learning habits is supported by creating a conducive classroom atmosphere, providing positive reinforcement, and establishing a good emotional approach. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the strategies and active involvement of classroom teachers are key factors in fostering positive, independent, and sustainable learning habits in students.
