Abstract
The main problem in this research is the inefficient manual administration of incoming and outgoing mail within the Banten Regional Police's Supervision Unit (Iwasda Polda Banten). This conventional filing system makes it difficult to search, store, and track documents, resulting in slow administrative service delivery. The scope of this research focuses on the development of a web-based mail archiving system that can be used to digitally manage incoming and outgoing mail by internal employees of the Banten Regional Police's Supervision Unit. The research method used is the Waterfall system development approach, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review related to information systems and mail archive management. The expected outcome of this research is the creation of a web-based mail archiving system that can improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness within the Banten Regional Police's Supervision Unit. With this system, the process of recording, storing, and searching for mail can be carried out more quickly, accurately, and well-documented, thereby supporting overall improvements in administrative performance.
