Abstract
This article presents a three-year (2021–2023) comparative study of the effects of FAO-56-scheduled drip irrigation versus conventional furrow irrigation on soil agrochemical properties. In cooperation with the Jizzakh Branch of the Agrochemical Station of “O’ZAGROKIMYOHIMOYA” JSC, changes in humus, available phosphorus (P₂O5), available potassium (K₂O), and total nitrogen (N) content were studied according to GOST 26213-91 and GOST 26205-91 standards. Comparing indicators from early 2021 to late 2023 at the experimental site in the Sharof Rashidov district, drip irrigation increased humus content by 0.17 %, available phosphorus by 9.3 mg/kg, and total nitrogen by 0.008 %, while the rate of available potassium depletion was nearly half that observed under furrow irrigation.
