Abstract
Here, the individual, motivational, cognitive, emotional and social factors influencing the process of organizing academic work of independent researchers are revealed from a scientific point of view. The implementation of independent research without separating it from production and other professional activities is a prerequisite for the development of scientific activity, time resource management, academic motivation, effective cooperation with a scientific supervisor, and the improvement of research.
