Abstract
This article examines, through multiple regression analysis, the socio- psychological factors predicting students' overall level of legal and civic consciousness (measured by L.A. Yasyukova's TPGS test). The study involved 220 students (120 male, 100 female); the six scales of D.S. Beznosov and A.K. Bordunos's "Diagnostics of Legal Consciousness" methodology were entered as predictors, with the TPGS total score as the outcome variable. The regression model explained a substantial proportion of variance in students' legal and civic consciousness level (R²=0.775), with legal realism and legal nihilism identified as the strongest predictors. The findings indicate a need to refine legal education programs with a focus on these two factors.
