Abstract
The aim of this article is to assess the level of integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across the competence areas of staff at the Museum of Kraków, and to classify the organization’s AI maturity. The study used a model based on twelve areas of staff competence, within which respondents self-assessed their use of AI tools in their day-to-day work. These self-assessments were then analysed using the TOPSIS-Sort method, which classifies organizations into one of four levels of AI maturity: traditional organization (C1), AI-supported organization (C2), organization collaborating with AI (C3), and cognitive organization (C4). Additionally, the AHP method was used to determine the weights of individual competencies. The results indicate that the museum has achieved a level of maturity that goes beyond the traditional organization model, placing it in the AI-supported organization category (C2). This article is both diagnostic and methodological, presenting one of the first attempts to apply the TOPSIS-Sort method to assess the level of AI integration within a museum organization. The proposed procedure can be used in other museums and cultural institutions to support the diagnosis and comparison of AI maturity levels.
