Abstract
A new subspecies of Polycaena sakaii Sugiyama, 2015 from Mt. Siguniang, Aba, Sichuan is described, namely P. s. fani ssp. nov., based on morphological and molecular divergences. The adults, male genitalia, diagnosis, phylogenetic position of the new subspecies, along with taxonomic discussion and a distributional map of this species, are provided.
