Indexed articles and reviews
100
Source-native articles/reviews linked to a verified university; retracted works are excluded.
RHR eligibility and evidence
ResearchHub University Rankings (RHR) publishes only reproducible results supported by documented ResearchHub evidence. Being listed in the university catalogue, submitting information, or having a public profile does not automatically create a score or a published rank.
Publication condition
Reproducible snapshot
Only an approved, documented release can appear in official results.
Missing evidence
Not available
Missing evidence is never converted into zero or estimated from another institution.
Source boundary
Traceable evidence
Every included metric retains provenance and a retrieval record.
An institution must have a verified public identity and source-linked research evidence. RHR uses only admitted public relationships for public ranking outputs.

Indexed articles and reviews
100
Source-native articles/reviews linked to a verified university; retracted works are excluded.
Evidence coverage
100%
Coverage is calculated against the selected methodology, not against an unrelated scorecard.
Documented metrics
5
Each metric needs source, source identifier, retrieval time, collection method, normalisation policy and confidence.
Recent evidence window
5 years
Five complete UTC calendar years before calculation; the current partial year is excluded.
All five metrics and fixed weights are required. Explicit quality, country and OA classifications must cover at least 90% of the window. Growth requires at least 20 articles/reviews in the first two years. Unknown evidence remains unavailable. All five pillars must be documented, at least 100 indexed articles/reviews must fall within the five complete calendar years, and at least two fully eligible institutions must form the comparison cohort. Published releases retain their original methodology.
Archived source-native aggregate pathway
The legacy RHR-2026.1-OPENALEX aggregate pathway is deliberately limited to source-native institution research-output and research-impact evidence. It does not claim teaching, reputation, industry, international, growth, field-normalized, or top-percentile measures when those indicators are not directly documented.

A missing OpenAlex aggregate remains Not available. It is never converted to zero, estimated, or substituted from another institution.
Permitted sources for RHR-2026.3-INSTITUTION include scopus, openalex, crossref, semantic scholar, opencitations, orcid, ror, pubmed, europe pmc, unpaywall, datacite, openaire. Each metric must retain its source, identifier, retrieval time, collection method, normalisation policy and confidence. Google Scholar scraping, proprietary ranking datasets and external reputation scores are excluded.
Institutional submissions can add evidence for review, but a submission is not a promise of eligibility, score, rank or publication.
Next steps
RHR is an independent, evidence-based ResearchHub methodology. It is not a sole measure of institutional quality, teaching quality or academic merit. Only published, reproducible snapshots with documented evidence can appear in official RHR results.
