How to Verify a ResearchHub Scientist Certificate
Practical steps for checking certificate identity, edition and eligibility without trusting a screenshot.
Start with the source
Images can be edited, and certificate titles can be copied into promotional graphics. Verification should begin from an official ResearchHub certificate URL or identifier rather than a document circulated in a message.
Compare identities carefully
Confirm the researcher's name and any supported profile link. Similar names are common, so a spelling match alone may be insufficient. The displayed recognition tier and methodology version should agree with the document presented.
Look for status and context
The certificate page should distinguish valid records from unavailable or unverified claims and identify which ranking edition the recognition belongs to. A certificate issued in one edition does not automatically guarantee a similar result in later editions.
Report discrepancies
If a shared image conflicts with its verification record, treat the public official record as the starting point and ask ResearchHub support to review the discrepancy. Do not accuse the researcher of misconduct on the basis of a mismatch alone.
