How to Report Your Scientist Ranking Without Overclaiming
A practical communications guide for researcher websites, LinkedIn and institutional news.
Start with attribution
Write the ranking issuer's full name, the edition or methodology code and the exact position or tier. Say whether it is a global, country or field cohort. Avoid broad labels such as world's best scientist when the evidence describes a narrower comparison.
Check the current status
Researcher records change and historical editions remain distinct. Before posting a badge, confirm the official profile or verification page and ensure the claimed result matches the published data.
Explain what was measured
Briefly state that the system uses defined research indicators and has known coverage limits. This gives readers a more accurate impression than presenting the number as a universal assessment of scientific or professional ability.
Do not imply external endorsement
An independent ResearchHub recognition is not automatically affiliated with QS, THE, a government, professional board or other ranking organisation. Clear disclosure improves trust even when the result is impressive.
