How to Use a ResearchHub Scientist Ranking Profile
A step-by-step reading guide for metrics, fields, evidence and verifiable recognition.
Confirm the researcher
Check the displayed name, persistent identifiers and linked publications. Homonyms and incomplete indexing can lead to incorrect aggregations. A plausible photograph or affiliation is not sufficient proof that every attributed work belongs to the same person.
Read the cohort and time window
Find the discipline, country or global group to which a position applies. Distinguish career-wide metrics from the recent five-year indicators and note the source date. A field placement is not interchangeable with a global placement.
Inspect methodological signals
Look at evidence completeness, data-confidence information, the six RSIS pillars and available warnings. If an indicator is unavailable, do not mentally replace it with zero or assume the person failed to meet an unpublished standard.
Verify any certificate
A leaderboard row and an issued recognition certificate are different things. Follow the official verification page for a certificate and cite its exact label and edition if you decide to describe it publicly.
