ResearchHub Scientist Certificates: Eligibility Explained
Understand the requirements behind RSIS recognition and why a visible ranking does not automatically issue a certificate.
Recognition is conditional
RSIS recognition follows published rules rather than simply printing a certificate for every profile. The current methodology describes identity and evidence requirements, at least five admitted non-retracted works, a minimum evidence-completeness threshold of 80%, and a qualifying relative position within the applicable cohort.
A position is not the whole decision
The framework requires a sufficiently high cohort placement and no unresolved integrity-review flag. This means a visually strong metric or a claimed researcher account alone does not establish that the certificate rules are satisfied.
What verification should show
A genuine certificate should carry a verifiable identifier and make its edition and tier clear. A reader should be able to check the ResearchHub verification destination instead of relying only on a shared image or PDF.
Check the current rules
The methodology may change in later versions. Always read the published RSIS methodology and verify the particular certificate rather than relying on a screenshot or informal promise.
